Dreams Do Come True

Let's Pizza is a pizza vending machine out of Italy that kneads the dough and bakes the pizza fresh on the street. Almost too good to be true and at a suggested price of $7, I think this is going to be a massive hit around bars and on college campuses.
I hope it tastes as good as it looks!

House of Style

House of Style is back on MTV with major format changes. During the 90s Cindy Crawford and Molly Sims interviewed high profile designers and gave backstage peaks of the runway. Some of these elements remain in the new version alongside a cute DIY bracelet project and a ''Behind the Music-eque'' Justin Timberlake profile for William Rast. Aimed at a Junior High audience, the show is still good enough for young fans of the old show to follow. My only negative comment would be the feature on dinner parties. The whole segment came off as pretentious and bitchy as that chick that works with Whitney on The City. However, it's Spring and I really admired the color palate and glittery decorations.

Creepers Gonna Creep

Every Spring I encounter the creepest of dudes out at the bars. Honestly, they come out of hibernation and are always in full effect from March-May. I usually go with the truthful, I am not feeling it sorry, line but sometimes I get creative.

When the mood strikes me, I fake engagements. You might be thinking, don't you need a ring for that? The answer is no, people have rings resized all the time and let me tell you this works like a charm. I used it twice on Saturday and went on my merry way.

not a girl definitely not a mom

I'm trying to enjoy this gorgeous spring day in Minneapolis by drinking too much coffee, catching up on NPR podcasts and blogging near an open window. I was in love with the day and being semi-productive until the kid next door came home from school. Don't get me wrong, I adore kids more than most people. In fact, I have an unusually high tolerance for children's media and it takes a lot for me to lose patience.

That said, the neighbor kid is so damn loud I can't handle it anymore! Window shut, headphones on and I can still hear his piercing voice.

Woah my eyes!

I am an unapologetic Facebook stalker. If you are my friend, I will probably look through your photos at some point. Sometimes it's because I'm bored and other times I'm checking to see if you're still single.

I was going through a friend's photos and ran across a mostly naked shot of his friend holding a stuffed animal over his stuff and standing in front of a mirror. Yeah. It went from cute pictures of my friend with his girlfriend to naked dude. You'd think at this point I would stop going through the album but no, I had to see what else he had in store.

Fashion Fight Night 3, I think it’s about time I give you a recap. In case you have never been it’s a fashion show and photo shoot throw down between multiple photographers in two boxing rings. The actual photo shoots are timed and follow a boxing match format. However pictures speak louder than words, here are some of my favorite shots from the ring.

Another reason why I love Obama

http://www.cnn.com/2009/POLITICS/03/03/endangered.species.act/index.html

WASHINGTON (CNN) -- President Obama on Tuesday overturned a last-minute Bush administration regulation that many environmentalists claim weakened the Endangered Species Act.

President Obama, with Interior Secretary Ken Salazar, marked the agency's 160th birthday Tuesday.

The regulation, issued a few weeks before George W. Bush left office, made it easier for federal agencies to skip consultations with government scientists before launching projects that could affect endangered wildlife.

By overturning the regulation, Obama said during an enthusiastic reception at the Interior Department, he had restored "the scientific process to its rightful place at the heart of the Endangered Species Act, a process undermined by past administrations."

Under the Bush administration rule, there was no need for a federal agency to consult with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service or the National Marine Fisheries Services if that agency determined that no harm would come to an endangered species as a result of its project.

But the determination of what "no harm" meant rested with agency bureaucrats instead of scientists.

Obama issued a memorandum that effectively suspends the regulation while ordering a review to determine whether it promotes "the purposes of the [Endangered Species Act]."

"The work of scientists and experts in my administration, including right here in the Interior Department, will be respected," Obama said. "For more than three decades, the Endangered Species Act has successfully protected our nation's most threatened wildlife, and we should be looking for ways to improve it, not weaken it."

Environmental groups were quick to praise Obama's action.

"President Obama's announcement will allow [the Endangered Species Act] to do what it was intended: protect our nation's endangered plants and animals," said Andrew Wetzler, director of the Natural Resources Defense Council's Endangered Species Program.

"Reversing the Bush administration's midnight action will restore protections for our last wild places and species."

Obama also helped celebrate the 160th anniversary of the Interior Department on Tuesday.

"Throughout our history, there's been a tension between those who've sought to conserve our natural resources for the benefit of future generations and those who have sought to profit from these resources," he told department employees.

"But I'm here to tell you this is a false choice. With smart, sustainable policies, we can grow our economy today and preserve the environment for ourselves, our children and our grandchildren."
